School & Student Supports (03S)

The Office of School and Student Supports (O3S) strives to ensure that Maine schools are inclusive, healthy, safe, and supportive communities where every student thrives. O3S endeavors to coordinate resources and programs that promote equitable, psycho-socially, physically, and environmentally healthy school communities for all.

The O3S team consists of specialized groups that provide valuable information and guidance to students, parents, administrators, educators, legislators, and other stakeholders. The Climate, Culture, Resilience Team focuses on trauma-informed resources that foster safe and inclusive educational environments. The Coordinated School Health Team offers professional learning, resources, and guidance to create healthy and inclusive work and learning environments.
